Section 1131 - Applicability of subchapterThis subchapter does not apply to or affect:
(1) A lien given by statute or rule of law to a supplier of services or materials for the vehicle.(2) A lien given by statute to the United States, the Commonwealth or any political subdivision.(3) A security interest in a vehicle which is inventory held for sale or lease by a person or leased by that person as lessor and that person is in the business of selling goods of that kind.(4) Any vehicle for which a certificate of title is not required under this chapter. 1976, June 17, P.L. 162, No. 81, § 1, eff.
