Section 3101 - Public hearings(a)Public hearing.--The commission shall hold a public hearing at which any citizen shall have the right to appear and be heard before submitting proposed regulations under the act of June 25, 1982 ( P.L. 633, No.181), known as the Regulatory Review Act, or adopting or amending the rules of the commission.(b)Notice of hearing.--Public notice of the public hearing shall be given in accordance with 65 Pa.C.S. Ch. 7 (relating to open meetings) and, at least seven days in advance of the hearing, by posting on a bulletin board maintained in or near the commission's principal office, in a place accessible to the public during business hours, a statement of the time and place of the hearing and of the matter to be considered. The commission shall also furnish at least 20 copies of the notice to the newspaper correspondents' office in the State Capitol and one copy of the notice to the Governor, each appointing authority and each member of the General Assembly. The commission may give further public notice of the hearings as it deems advisable.Added by P.L. TBD 2018 No. 71, § 1, eff. 3/28/2019.
