(a) Authorization.--The department is authorized to provide grants for the following purposes:(1) Reimbursement of up to 75% of the cost of preparing a voluntary water use reduction plan under section 3120(a)(2) (relating to water conservation).(2) Water resources education, technical assistance and water conservation, including the promotion of voluntary reduction of unaccounted- for water loss, under section 3120(a).(b) Funding.--Grants shall be made from funds available for this purpose.2002, Dec. 16, P.L. 1776, No. 220, § 2, effective in 90 days.
