Section 8330 - Appropriations by the commonwealth(a)Annual submission of budget.--The board shall prepare and through the governor submit annually to the general assembly an itemized budget consisting of the amounts necessary to be appropriated by the commonwealth out of the general fund required to meet the separate obligations to the fund and the trust accruing during the fiscal period beginning July 1 of the following year.(b)Appropriation and payment.--The general assembly shall make an appropriation sufficient to provide for the separate obligations of the commonwealth to the fund and the trust as certified by the board. Such amount shall be paid by the state treasurer through the department of revenue into the fund or the trust within 30 days of receipt of the requisition presented each quarter by the board.Amended by P.L.
