Section 3905.841 - Persons or classes of persons not to act as agentsThe following persons or classes of persons shall not act as surety bail bond agents or employees of a surety bail bond agent or bail bond business and shall not directly or indirectly receive any benefits from the execution of a bail bond, except as a principal:
(A) Jailers or other persons employed in a detention facility, as defined in section 2921.01 of the Revised Code;(B) Prisoners incarcerated in any jail, prison, or any other place used for the incarceration of persons;(C) Peace officers as defined in section 2921.51 of the Revised Code, including volunteer or honorary peace officers, or other employees of a law enforcement agency;(D) Committing magistrates, judges, employees of a court, or employees of the clerk of any court;(E) Attorneys or any person employed at an attorney's office;(F) Any other persons having the power to arrest, or persons who have authority over or control of, federal, state, county, or municipal corporation prisoners.
