Section 3905.069 - Licenses required(A) Notwithstanding any other provisions of Title XXXIX of the Revised Code, no person shall act or represent the person's self as a travel administrator for travel insurance in this state unless that person holds one of the following licenses in good standing in this state: (1) Property and casualty license;(2) Managing general agent license;(3) Third-party administrator license.(B)(1) A travel insurer is responsible for the acts of a travel administrator administering travel insurance underwritten by the travel insurer and is responsible for ensuring that the travel administrator maintains all books and records relevant to the travel insurer.(2) The travel administrator shall make such books and records available to the superintendent of insurance upon request.Added by 134th General Assembly, SB 256,§1, eff. 10/19/2022.
