Section 14-12.2-03 - (104) Remedies cumulative1. Remedies provided by this chapter are cumulative and do not affect the availability of remedies under other law or the recognition of a support order on the basis of comity.2. This chapter does not: a. Provide the exclusive method of establishing or enforcing a support order under the law of this state; orb. Grant a tribunal of this state jurisdiction to render judgment or issue an order relating to child custody or visitation in a proceeding under this chapter.Effective date amended to 7/1/2015 by S.L. 2015, ch. 126 (HB 1111),§ 13, eff. 4/15/2015.Effective on the date the department of human services certifies to the legislative council that the Hague convention on the international recovery of child support and other forms of family maintenance is ratified and that the United States deposited its instrument of ratification.
