The person entitled to a lien hereunder may retain such automobile in his possession until such lien is paid. Such lien may be enforced in the manner now or hereafter provided for the enforcement of mechanics' liens in this state; or in the manner now provided under Sections48-3-13 and 48-3-14 NMSA 1978, or hereafter provided by any amendments thereof or any laws of New Mexico in substitution therefor.
