Section 17:15A-39 - License required for operation, conditionsNo applicant for a license shall commence operations until a license has been issued. The commissioner shall not issue a license unless the following conditions have been met:
a. The application for the license has been approved pursuant to section 5 of this act;b. The applicant's place or places of business have been approved by the department and the department has determined that the applicant has the necessary equipment to record transactions and maintain other records as required by this act;c. The applicant has submitted to the department a statement that the applicant has a bank account or accounts which will be used solely for the check cashing business, together with the number or numbers of those accounts and the name of the institution in which each account is held; andd. The applicant has submitted to the department the name and business address of the applicant's public accountant and evidence acceptable to the commissioner demonstrating compliance with subsections a. and b. of section 9 of this act.
