Section 162-K:1 - Local OptionAny city or town may adopt this chapter and shall thereafter have all the authority, powers, duties and responsibilities set forth in this chapter.
I.A city may adopt this chapter by majority vote of the legislative body of the city after notice and hearing as set forth in RSA 162-K:4.II.A town may adopt this chapter by majority vote of the voters present and voting at any legal town meeting under a proper article and after notice and hearing as set forth in RSA 162-K:4. 1979, 175:2, eff.
