Section 706A.140 - Fee; annual assessment1. The Authority shall charge and collect a fee in an amount established by the Authority by regulation from each applicant for a permit to operate a transportation network company in this State. The fee required by this subsection is not refundable. The Authority shall not issue a permit to operate a transportation network company in this State unless the applicant has paid the fee required by this subsection.2. For each year after the year in which the Authority issues a permit to a transportation network company, the Authority shall levy and collect an annual assessment from the transportation network company at a rate determined by the Authority based on the gross operating revenue derived from the intrastate operations of the transportation network company in this State. 3.
