Section 706.8847 - Compliance with passenger's directions; exceptions1. A driver shall not refuse or neglect to transport any orderly person to that person's destination if: (a) That person requests the driver to transport the person; and(b) The requested destination is within the area allocated to the certificate holder who employs the driver.2. Subsection 1 does not apply if the driver can show beyond a reasonable doubt that:(a) The driver has good reason to fear for the driver's personal safety;(b) The taxicab has been previously engaged by another person; or(c) The driver is forbidden by law or regulation to carry the person requesting transportation.Added to NRS by 1969, 1247Added to NRS by 1969, 1247
