Section 687B.750 - Health carrier not to prohibit certain actions by participating provider of health care A health carrier which offers or issues a network plan shall not prohibit a participating provider of health care in the network from:
1. Discussing any specific treatment option or all treatment options with a covered person irrespective of the position of the health carrier on the treatment options;2. Advocating on behalf of a covered person within any utilization review process or any process for grievances or appeals established by the health carrier or a person contracting with the health carrier; or 3. Advocating on behalf of a covered person in accordance with any rights or remedies available under applicable state or federal law.Added to NRS by 2017, 2352Added by 2017, Ch. 376,§73, eff. 7/1/2017.
