Section 638.1525 - Unlawful for licensee to provide medical assistance, treatment or counsel to human being; exception; ground for disciplinary action; suspension of license; penalty; reporting of violation1. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 41.500, a person licensed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall not provide medical assistance, treatment or counsel to a human being. Such conduct is a ground for disciplinary action.2. The Board shall immediately suspend the license of a person who violates the provisions of this section.3. Any person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a category D felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130.4. The Board may report an alleged violation of this section to the Attorney General or any district attorney. Upon receiving a report from the Board, the Attorney General or district attorney shall institute necessary proceedings in a court of competent jurisdiction against the person responsible for the alleged violation of this section.Added to NRS by 1995, 1675; A 1997, 540, 1192Added to NRS by 1995, 1675; A 1997, 540, 1192
