Section 159.195 - Disposition of claims of creditor after termination of guardianship by death of protected person1. If the guardianship is terminated by reason of the death of the protected person: (a) Except as otherwise provided in NRS 159.197, the guardian shall report to the personal representative claims which are presented to the guardian, or which have been presented to the guardian but have not been paid, except those incurred in paying the expenses of administration of the guardianship estate and in winding up the affairs of the guardianship estate.(b) Claims which have been allowed by the guardian, but not paid, shall be paid by the personal representative in the course of probate in the priority provided by law for payment of claims against a decedent, and shall have the same effect and priority as a judgment against a decedent.(c) Claims which have been presented and not allowed or rejected shall be acted upon by the personal representative in the same manner as other claims against a decedent.2.
