Section 46-16-603 - Form of verdict(1) The jury shall return a verdict as instructed by the court. The verdict must be unanimous in all criminal actions. The verdict must be signed by the lead juror and returned by the jury to the judge in open court.(2) If there are two or more defendants, the jury, at any time during its deliberations, may return a verdict or verdicts with respect to a defendant or defendants as to whom it has agreed.
