Section 431.068 - Persons seventeen or older may donate blood - written permission required for sixteen-year-olds1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 431.061, any person seventeen years of age or older may donate blood voluntarily without the necessity of obtaining the permission or authorization of his or her parent or guardian.2. Any person sixteen years of age may donate blood, if that person obtains written permission or authorization from his or her parent or guardian.3. No person under the age of eighteen shall receive compensation for any blood donated without the written authorization of his or her parent or guardian.L. 1979 S.B. 208 § 1, A.L. 2006S.B. 1197
