Section 208.072 - Application for medical assistance, approval or denial, when - Medicaid payments to long-term care facilities, when1. A completed application for medical assistance for services described in section 208.152 shall be approved or denied within thirty days from submission to the family support division or its successor.2. The MO HealthNet division shall remit to a licensed nursing home operator the Medicaid payment for a newly admitted Medicaid resident in a licensed long-term care facility within forty-five days of the resident's date of admission.3. In accordance with 42 CFR 435.907(a), as amended, if the applicant is a minor or incapacitated, the family support division or its successor shall accept an application from someone acting responsibly for the applicant.Amended by 2023 Mo.
