Section 375.03 - TERMS IN NEW COUNTY OR IF BOARD ENLARGED
Subdivision 1.Staggering; vacancies.

In each new county, and in each county that has an increase of the number of commissioners, a commissioner shall be elected from each odd-numbered district for a term of two years, and from each even-numbered district for a term of four years. Thereafter all commissioners shall be elected for a term of four years, except that elections to fill vacancies shall be for the unexpired term only.

Subd. 2.Except Ramsey County.

This section does not apply to Ramsey County.
