Section 51:1283 - DefinitionsWhenever used in this Subpart, unless a different meaning clearly appears in the context, the following terms, whether used in the singular or plural, shall be given the following interpretations:
(1) "Board" shall mean the board of directors of the district or any successor thereto.(2) "Constitution" shall mean the constitution of Louisiana, as amended.(3) "District" shall mean the special district and political subdivision created, organized, and existing pursuant to the provisions of this Subpart or any successor thereto.(4) "State" shall mean the state of Louisiana.Acts 1990, No. 1038, §1, eff.
