Section 46:1434 - Fingerprints, missing childrenA. When fingerprints are taken for the purpose of identifying a child, should that child become missing, the state agency, public or private organization, or other person taking such fingerprints shall not reveal the fingerprints to any law enforcement agency or other person for any purpose other than the identification of a missing child.B. Fingerprints of children taken and retained by any state agency, public or private organization, or other person, excluding the parent or legal custodian of the child, shall be destroyed upon the child's reaching eighteen years of age.
