Section 27:29.4 - Key and non-key gaming employee permitA. The board shall issue a key gaming employee permit to suitable persons pursuant to this Title.B. The division shall issue a non-key gaming employee permit to suitable persons pursuant to this Title.C. No gaming employee required by this Title to be permitted may commence employment or be employed as a gaming employee unless that person is the holder of a valid gaming employee permit.D. The holder of a key or non-key gaming employee permit issued under this Title shall be authorized to work in the capacity for which permitted for the holder of a license as defined in R.S. 27:44 or 353, the casino gaming operator, or a sports wagering operator as defined in R.S. 27:602.E. The fee for a non-key gaming employee permit issued under the provisions of this Section is two hundred dollars. This fee is required to be submitted at the time of application. The renewal fee for a non-key gaming employee permit issued under the provisions of this Section is two hundred dollars.F. The fee for the initial application for a key gaming employee permit issued under the provisions of this Section is five hundred dollars. This fee is required to be submitted at the time of application. The renewal fee for the key gaming employee permit is two hundred dollars.G. The provisions of this Section shall not apply to persons licensed pursuant to the provisions of the Video Draw Poker Devices Control Law as provided in Chapter 8 of this Title.Acts 2001, No. 1222, §1, eff.
