A. Legal process may be served upon such insurer by service upon the insurer's attorney-in-fact at the principal office of the attorney-in-fact or by service upon the secretary of state. Service of process upon an individual subscriber shall not constitute service upon the insurer.B. When such process is served upon the secretary of state, duplicate copies of such process shall be delivered to him and he shall immediately forward one copy of such process to the insurer's attorney-in-fact, by registered or certified mail, or by commercial courier as defined in R.S. 13:3204(D), giving the day and hour of such service.Acts 1958, No. 125; Redesignated from R.S. 22:448 by Acts 2008, No. 415, §1, eff.
