Section 17:3351.12 - Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College; Professional Program Fee; masters degree in business administration; Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical CollegeA. In addition to the authority granted to the Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College by other provisions of this Title authorizing such board to provide for and impose fees and in accordance with the provisions of Article VII, Section 2.1(A) of the Constitution of Louisiana, the board may impose a Professional Program Fee in the amount not to exceed two thousand dollars per semester on students enrolled full time in seeking a Masters of Business Administration degree at Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College or the University of New Orleans.B. The fee authorized in this Section shall be effective for both resident and nonresident students and shall be in effect beginning in the Fall 2005 semester.C. The authority to impose the fee amounts provided by Subsection A of this Section shall include the authority to provide for a schedule of gradual imposition until the maximum amount is imposed and to impose proportional amounts for part-time students and for summer sessions.Acts 2004, No. 788, §1, eff.
