§ 656. Compensation of members; expenses

The members of the Commission shall not receive compensation or salary for their services as such. They shall, however, be reimbursed for such expenses as they may actually incur in the discharge of the duties imposed upon them by §§ 651—659 of this title. This reimbursement shall be made upon presentation of vouchers or any other proof reasonably showing to the official, who is to authorize the payment, that the expenses involved have been incurred.
