Any person who incurs in the following acts thus obstructing the work of the defense or of the prosecutor shall incur a crime pursuant to the provisions of this chapter:
(a) Alter, destroy, suppress or conceal any registry, document or object with the purpose of causing detriment to its credibility, legality or availability in any official proceeding or investigation.
(b) Fabricate, falsify, present or use any registry, document or object with knowledge of its false condition with the purpose of undermining or impeding the work of another public official or servant who is or may be conducting an official proceeding or investigation.
(c) The penalty for the commission of the crime described herein shall be imposed as it arises from the articles germane to and contained in the Penal Code of Puerto Rico.
