Any person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished with a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more [than] five thousand dollars ($5,000), or a penalty of imprisonment for a term of not less than one (1) month nor more than six (6) months who:
(a) Practices the profession of histologic technician or histotechnologist in Puerto Rico without the license required by this chapter, or who employs another person who is not licensed as histologic technician or histotechnologist to practice said profession; or
(b) advertises or pretends to be a histologic technician or histotechnologist without being duly licensed to practice as such in Puerto Rico; or
(c) submits false or fraudulent documents to the Board with the intention of obtaining a license or a recertification, or
(d) circulates, sells, purchases, passes on or steals the contents of the questions or answers of the histologic technician or histotechnologist revalidation examination, whether they are in the original or copies or oral, written, photographed, photocopied or any other method of copying any of the material used in the preparation of said examination.
