§ 246. License—Examinations

The Board shall hold a theoretical and practical examination to test the knowledge of the candidate fulfilling the requirements of § 245 of this title. The subject matter to be covered by the examination for physical therapist or physiotherapist shall include anatomy, chemistry, kinesiology, pathology, physics, psychology, physical therapy as applied to medicine, surgery and psychiatry; theory and procedure of physical therapy, ethics in the practice of physical therapy, ethics in the practice of medicine, and such other disciplines as the Board may deem necessary for measuring the ability of the applicant for the practice of physical therapy. The examination for physical therapist assistant shall cover the subject matters that the Board may prescribe in the regulations. These examinations shall be given at least once a year on the date that the Board may determine.
