A limited liability partnership is a partnership as defined in § 4311 of Title 31. The provisions of Subtitle 4 of Part VIII of the Title 31 apply to limited liability partnerships, in the measure that they are not incompatible with the provisions of this chapter. Upon expiration of the term to renew the registration, the partnership shall continue operating as a community property.
