§ 4255. Statute of limitations

Criminal action to be taken regarding election-related crimes classified as felonies shall prescribe after five (5) years. Criminal action for election-related crimes classified as misdemeanors, as well as those that entail fines, shall prescribe after three (3) years.

Violations of the provisions of this subtitle and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder that are not specifically classified and punishable as election-related crimes, and that are subject to administrative fines, shall prescribe after three (3) years.
