Among the specific duties of this Division, in addition to such others as may be established by the Secretary of Education, there shall be:
(a) To make a physical examination of the children of the schools of Puerto Rico.
(b) To work in cooperation with the Division of Domestic Science in the preparation of literature on the best diet for children attending school lunch rooms.
(c) To prepare a course of public hygiene for the elementary school course making therein due correlation with other subjects of study.
(d) To establish standards of weight, height, chest expansion, and others that may be useful for improving of health of the children.
