There is hereby created within the school system of Puerto Rico an institution which shall be known as the “Teacher’s Farm”, which shall be established in the rural communities and preferably in those farthest from urban centers. The Teacher’s Farm shall be an institution of a public nature, which shall be acquired and maintained by public funds, and shall consist of a dwelling house valued at not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), a parcel of land, and the farming implements, equipment, and supplies necessary for its operation.
