Section 304.53-010 - Allowable types of paid family leave insurance - Application of provisionsPaid family leave insurance:
(1) May be: (a) Included in a group disability income insurance policy or contract purchased by an employer;(b) Offered as a rider, amendment, or supplemental policy provision to a group disability income insurance policy or contract purchased by an employer; or(c) Offered as a stand-alone group paid family leave insurance policy or contract purchased by an employer; and(2) Shall be subject to KRS 304.14-120 and any other requirements for group health insurance under this chapter unless: (a) Paid family leave insurance is expressly exempted from the requirements; or(b) The requirements are in conflict with this subtitle.Added by 2024 Ky.
