Section 71-120 - Community colleges; official designation(a) On and after the effective date of this act, every public community junior college, established and existing under the laws of this state, is hereby officially designated as a community college.(b) Whenever the community colleges officially designated as such in subsection (a) are referred to or designated by the terms "community junior college" or "junior college" in a statute, contract or other document, such reference or designation shall be deemed to apply to said community colleges.L. 1980, ch. 207, § 1; July 1.
