Section 36-8-17-5 - Compliance with order to assist the department; annual reporting(a) The fire chief and the designees of the fire chief in every fire department are assistants to the state fire marshal.(b) A fire department shall comply with an order issued by the department under IC 22-14-2-4 that directs the fire department to assist the department.(c) A fire department shall report annually to the department of homeland security, in a manner prescribed by the department of homeland security, information relating to each emergency response by the fire department.
