Section 27-8-4.9-3 - "Plan sponsor"(a) As used in this chapter, "plan sponsor" means a person that establishes, adopts, or maintains a health benefit plan that covers individuals in Indiana.(b) The term includes a health benefit plan established, adopted, or maintained:(2) jointly by an employer and one (1) or more employee organizations; or(3) by an association, committee, joint board of trustees, or any similar group of representatives.(c) The term does not include an entity regulated under this title.Added by P.L. 226-2023,SEC. 23, eff. 7/1/2023.
