Section 27-13-8-4 - Civil penalties(a) The commissioner may impose a civil penalty of five hundred dollars ($500), after notice and hearing under IC 4-21.5-3, on a health maintenance organization that fails to file an annual statement under this chapter.(b) A domestic health maintenance organization that fails to file an audited annual financial statement under section 2(a)(1) of this chapter before June 1 of each year without obtaining an extension is subject to a civil penalty of fifty dollars ($50) per day until the report is received by the commissioner.As added by P.L. 203-2001, SEC.23.
