Section 27-1-2.3-5 - [Effective Until 1/1/2025] "Health plan operator"As used in this chapter, "health plan operator" means the following:
(1) In the case of a health plan described in section 4(1) or 4(2) of this chapter, the state of Indiana.(2) In the case of a health plan described in section 4(3) of this chapter, the insurer that issued the policy.(3) In the case of a health plan described in section 4(4) of this chapter, the health maintenance organization that entered into the contract.Added by P.L. 170-2022,SEC. 36, eff. 7/1/2022.This section is set out more than once due to postponed, multiple, or conflicting amendments.
