Section 24-7-6-4 - Prejudgment garnishment proceedings(a) IC 24-4.5-5-105 and IC 24-4.5-5-106 apply to garnishments related to a rental purchase agreement.(b) With respect to a debt arising from a rental purchase agreement, regardless of where made, the lessor may not attach unpaid earnings of the debtor by garnishment proceedings or other similar proceedings before the entry of a judgment in an action against the lessee arising from a rental purchase agreement.As added by P.L. 254-1987, SEC.1.
