Section 16-19-3-19 - Vital statistics studies; death and sickness records; provision of information to election division regarding deceased voters(a) The state department shall study the vital statistics and endeavor to make intelligent and profitable use of the collected records of death and sickness among the people.(b) As required under 52 U.S.C. 21083, after January 1, 2006, the department shall provide information to the election division to coordinate the computerized list of voters maintained under IC 3-7-26.3 with the department records concerning individuals identified as deceased under IC 3-7-45.Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-1-3-5.
