Section 14-38-2-22 - Violations(a) An owner or operator who fails to comply with section 6, 10, or 11 of this chapter commits a Class C infraction.(b) The department may assess a civil penalty of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) against an owner or operator who knowingly fails to comply with section 6, 10, or 11 of this chapter.(c) A civil penalty assessed under this section shall be deposited in the oil and gas environmental fund established by IC 14-37-10-2.Added by P.L. 195-2014, SEC. 47, eff. 7/1/2014.
