Section 33-1033 - REPORT AND EVALUATION(1) By December 15 of each year, the board shall report to the governor and the senate and house of representatives education committees: (a) The total funds appropriated for the empowering parents grant program in the current fiscal year and the prior fiscal year;(b) The number of applicants for the program in the current fiscal year and the prior fiscal year;(c) The number of grants awarded in the current fiscal year and the prior fiscal year and how grant funds were used by participants; and(d) Other matters concerning the program that are:(i) Considered relevant by the board; or(ii) Specifically requested for inclusion in the report by the governor or by any member of the senate or the house of representatives.(2) By June 30, 2024, and every two (2) years thereafter, the board shall designate a third party to evaluate the program. The evaluation shall be conducted according to criteria set by the board, the senate and house of representatives education committees, and the joint finance-appropriations committee.Added by 2022 Session Laws, ch. 13, sec. 5, eff. 3/1/2022.
