(a) The provisions of sections 51-90 to 51-91a, inclusive, shall apply to all grievance complaints filed on or after July 1, 1986.(b) Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the term of each member of a local grievance committee established pursuant to section 51-90 of the general statutes, revision of 1958, revised to January 1, 1985, shall terminate on July 1, 1986. All matters pending before such a local grievance committee on July 1, 1986, shall be construed as pending with the same status before a grievance panel established under section 51-90b which serves the same territorial jurisdiction as that served by the local grievance committee on said date.(c) Rules of court in effect prior to July 1, 1986, shall govern all appeals to the State-Wide Grievance Committee from decisions rendered by a local grievance committee prior to July 1, 1986.Conn.
