Section 41-4-1 - Meets at which betting authorized - types of mutuels(a) The division of gaming and athletics licensing may permit at racing events, licensed under the provisions of chapter 3 of this title, betting under pari-mutuel system, so-called, or auction mutuel system, so-called, except as otherwise provided in this chapter.(b) Events run under Class A shall be conducted under the pari-mutuel system only.(c) Events run under Classes B, C, and E shall be conducted under the pari-mutuel or auction mutuel system as the division may determine.Amended by 2016 Pub.
