Section 3301 - Scope of chapterThis chapter shall not apply to or affect:
(1) Any policy of liability or workers' compensation insurance with or without supplementary expense coverage therein;(2) Any group or blanket policy;(3) Life insurance, endowment or annuity contracts, or contracts supplemental thereto which contain only such provisions relating to health insurance as: a. Provide additional benefits in case of death or dismemberment or loss of sight by accident or accidental means; or asb. Operate to safeguard such contracts against lapse, or to give a special surrender value or special benefit or an annuity in the event that the insured or annuitant becomes totally and permanently disabled, as defined by the contract or supplemental contract;Amended by Laws 2015, ch. 310,s 1, eff. 1/1/2017.18 Del.
