Section 7006 - [Effective 6/30/2025] Notice(a) Court. A court entering a dismissal or judgment of acquittal after a defendant's criminal conviction has been overturned, vacated, or reversed shall provide a copy of this chapter to the defendant at the time of entry of the dismissal or acquittal. The defendant must acknowledge receipt of a copy of this chapter in writing on a form established by the Supreme Court. The acknowledgment shall be entered on the docket by the court and shall be admissible in any proceeding subsequently filed by the defendant under this chapter.Added by Laws 2023, ch. 427,s 1, eff. 6/30/2025.
