Section 91 - Industrial alcohol permit1. An industrial alcohol permit may be issued by the liquor authority entitling the applicant to purchase alcohol intended for use in the manufacture and sale of any of the following, when they are unfit for beverage purposes, namely: (a) Denatured alcohol purchased and used pursuant to acts of Congress and regulations promulgated thereunder.(b) Patent, proprietary, medicinal, pharmaceutical, antiseptic and toilet preparations.(c) Flavoring extracts, syrups and food products.(d) Scientific, chemical, mechanical and industrial products.2. Such permit shall be in such form as prescribed by the rules of the liquor authority and shall permit the purchaser to use said alcohol for the purpose named in such permit and in accordance with the terms and conditions of such permit and the rules of the liquor authority.3. Such permit shall be issued for a calendar year, and the fee therefor shall be sixty-four dollars per year, or for any part thereof.4. Any person who shall knowingly sell any of the products enumerated in this section for beverage purposes, or who shall sell any of the same under circumstances from which he might reasonably deduce the intention of the purchaser to use them for such purposes, shall be subject to the penalties provided for in this chapter.N.Y.
