Section 12-255-125 - Unauthorized practice - penalties(1) It is unlawful for any person to practice as a practical or professional nurse or as a certified midwife unless licensed to practice that profession.(2) Any person who practices or offers or attempts to practice practical or professional nursing or as a certified midwife without an active license issued under this part 1 is subject to penalties pursuant to section 12-20-407 (1)(a).Amended by 2023 Ch. 261,§ 15, eff. 5/25/2023.Amended by 2020 Ch. 157, § 23, eff. 7/1/2020.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-38-123 and amended by 2019 Ch. 136, § 1, eff. 10/1/2019.L. 80: Entire article R&RE, p. 493, § 1, effective July 1.
