Section 11624.1 - Time limit for mailing policy; notice of defect(a) An insurer shall mail a policy within 30 days of the receipt of an assignment.(b) Upon the determination of an insurer to whom an assignment is made that the application of an insured is defective, the insurer shall immediately give written notice of the defect to the insured and to the agent or broker of record that the insured has 15 days from the mailing of the notice of defect to correct the defect.Added by Stats. 1990, Ch. 509, Sec. 2.
