Section 32-1454 - InjunctionA. An injunction shall issue forthwith to enjoin the practice of medicine by either of the following: 1. One not licensed to practice medicine or exempt from the requirement therefor pursuant to this chapter.2. A doctor of medicine whose continued practice will or well might cause irreparable damage to the public health and safety prior to the time proceedings under section 32-1451 could be instituted and completed.B. In a petition for injunction pursuant to the paragraph numbered 1 of subsection A of this section it shall be sufficient to charge that the respondent on a day certain in a named county engaged in the practice of medicine without a license and without being exempt from the requirements therefor pursuant to this chapter. No showing of damage or injury as the result thereof shall be required.C. In a petition for injunction pursuant to the paragraph numbered 2 of subsection A of this section there shall be set forth with particularity the facts which make it appear that irreparable damage to the public health and safety will or well might occur prior to the time proceedings under section 32-1451 could be instituted and completed.D. An injunction shall issue forthwith to enjoin any act specified in section 32-1455, subsection B.E. Such petition shall be filed by the board in the superior court of Maricopa county or in the county where the defendant resides or is found.F. Issuance of injunction shall not relieve the respondent from being subject to any other proceedings under law provided for in this chapter or otherwise, and violation of an injunction shall be punished as for contempt of court.G. In all other respects injunction proceedings under this section shall be governed as near as may be by the law otherwise applicable to injunctions.
